Projects
This page is still a work in progress, and I will continue to add and update the projects as I complete them. Down below are a few academic course-related and personal projects. For any questions, please contact me.
Simulating A Group of Point Vortices
MATLAB Simulation of flow around two airfoils: NACA-0012 and NACA-4412 using the vortex panel method. Computed lift coefficient as well as pressure distribution and compared to thin airfoil theory. Separation points solved using Thwaites Boundary Layer Separation Criterion.

Simulating Flow Around a Cylinder
MATLAB Simulation of flow around a circular cylinder using vortex panel method and compared to potential flow theory. Simulated a lifting and non-lifting case. Used Thwaites Boundary Separation Criterion to determine separation points.

Simulating A Group of Point Vortices
Simulating a group of point vortices using MATLAB. Simulated vortex wake of a wing with inboard flaps deployed, tip flaps deployed, an airplane during takeoff and landing , as well as the wake turbulence of an airplane.

Machine Learning Model to Determine Alzheimer's Diagnosis
ML Model in Python that targeted the MMSE Score (measures cognitive ability) to determine diagnosis. Created logistic regression and neural network models and achieved accuracy of 80%.

Integrated IoT Bicycle

Project involved adding a UI mounted onto a bike to display speed, temperature, date and time through various sensors. Created automatic gear shifter based on the incline as well as safety lock that communicated with the user via Wi-Fi. The project utilized 3 ESP32 microcontrollers programmed in Micro-Python
Personal project I took upon to explore my interest in vehicle aerodynamics as well as to learn new skills such as using Ansys Fluent to obtain CFD's to improve my design via an iterative approach. I also learned how to run Topology Optimization using SolidWorks to maximize strength to weight ratio for the mounting bracket design.
Rear Wing + Mounting Structure Design

In this project that was a group effort I came up with 3 turbine blade designs and manufactured the best design using an FDM 3D-Printer that used ABS as the material. I also conducted a Static FEA Analysis of the full assembly using SolidWorks to visualize possible points of failure prior to physical testing.
